Billy and that lady from that witch's movie with Nicholson as the devil... I like her. This was a good family movie with some funny stuff, some realistic stuff although I do not know any parents like this... this is what they should be like, but seldom is this the case.

Nice, realistic feel to the story. Had it's funny parts and it's serious parts, but all in all the movie flowed very well.

Too many emotional moments...

this is a ''laugh-out-loud-all-the-way-movie'' - it will keep you smiling from the beginning to the end. I loved it. Bette and Billy make a great match, and it is nice to see how well they play off one anothers lines - I cannot help but believe some of their stuff was adlibed, it is that good. Perfect for the whole family; it has a wonderful moral lesson in it: ''the aged still have a lot to offer, so don't just put them on a shelf and count them out.'' 5/5 for this superior comedy.

old school humor..... that just isn't that fresh today. good for kids and families... the message is sweet. But I fell asleep 3 times attempting to get through it. It's not horrible.... just the humor is stale and dated.

2 out of 5 stars. I expected more from Billy Crystal and Bette Midler. It's been awhile since they acted. Loved all their movies back in the day. Never liked Better Midler's Music though :/ LOL This Movie is a Major BOMB. Barely laughed twice.

Once in a while you just need a break, to sit back, relax, and watch a feel-good kind of movie. "Parental Guidance" is perfect to fulfill that need. Billy Crystal is his usually self: very amusingly entertaining. Not a bad movie for the kids to watch, either. 4.5/5

billy and bette doesn't make a good on movie couple just doesn't match, but the best is turner he's such a handsome boy and great acting.

In my opinion, this was quite a good movie. Midler is still rocking. I haven't seen her in a new movie in forever. Crystal played his part well too. I love up and comer Madison. She is quite talented. The boys were hilarious too. The story was funny and touching by the end. I loved the movie. It's definitely suitable for adults and kids. I would recommend at least 1 time watch, but I'm adding it to my collection 9/10

This movie wasn't as good as i thought it would be, i had high expectations after seeing the little girl in just go with it, but the film just wasn't funny. I'ts like they tried to hard to make the film funny but its just wasn't. "/ 2/10

This movie was alot better than I had expected especially since I had no intentions of every seeing it, let alone pay for it, which I did, because the Impossible was not playing that day. I'm soooooo glad I decided to see it, made me wish I had grandchildren for about 2 hours.... I think it's a very nice family movie to watch around the holidays and for that reason, I'll be adding it to my personal library as soon as I can. Just a feel good, funny movie.

Incredibly and pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this movie! It could easily have gone slapstick/goofy/trite--but it didn't. It was funny and touching and thoroughly enjoyable. So glad I watched it!
